Lord Ganesha is the supreme deity in Hindu Mythology who is worshipped foremost before the start of any auspicious ceremony. Hand-carved statue of Lord Ganesha with his four arms holding “Japa” beads mala giving blessings, “modak”; his favorite sweet, a noose and “ankusha” (elephant goad) are depicted seated majestically on the double heightened pedestal detailed with lotus leaves. The backdrop of the statue is of beautifully engraved columns and “torans” with swans at sides and “Surya”’; Sun God at the top.
