This Occupational Safety and Health Committee Training is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively establish, manage, and contribute to the OSH committee in their organization. Participants will learn how to assess workplace hazards, communicate effectively between employees and management, and implement safety strategies to comply with national and international safety standards, including OSHA regulations. Target Audience This training is ideal for: Newly appointed OSH Committee members Management representatives responsible for workplace safety Employee representatives on the OSH Committee Safety officers, supervisors, and HR personnel involved in safety compliance Individuals interested in improving workplace safety practices Learning Outcomes By the end of the course, participants will be able to: Understand the roles and responsibilities of an OSH Committee in promoting workplace safety. Identify and assess workplace hazards and recommend appropriate risk control measures. Develop and implement OSH policies that meet workplace safety regulations. Conduct effective safety audits and incident investigations. Facilitate communication and collaboration between employees and management regarding safety matters. Training Duration 1 Day (8 hours) Training Methodology The training includes a combination of: Covering OSH principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Providing practical examples of hazard identification and risk management. To encourage the exchange of ideas on safety challenges. Participants will practice risk assessment and safety auditing techniques. Assessment & Certification Participants will be assessed through practical exercises and case study evaluations. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation in Occupational Safety and Health Committee Training.
